Mission:

The O. H. Frazier, Jr. MD Legacy Fund (FLF) was established to support research, education, publication and recognition in the field of cardiovascular health inspired by the life, work and legacy of Dr. O. H. Frazier.

Program Description:

Programs of FLF are designed to offer monetary support for both the encouragement of innovation as well as the publication of historical achievements in the field of cardiovascular health, including the support of Dr. Frazier’s professional work, teaching and mentorship, and continuing contributions to the field. 

Program examples include; an O. H. Frazier MD Research and Innovation Award, an O. H. Frazier MD Grand Rounds and/or conference on the history and future of cardiovascular innovation, support for the development and publication of historical educational documents, in print and video, chronicling the advancement of cardiovascular care in the Texas Medical Center (from Dr. Frazier’s first person accounting), support of innovative clinical research in the field of cardiovascular health, including equipment and personnel, and other projects related to and serving the FLF mission – including the scientific and academic support of Dr. Delgado, who represents a next generation leading physician in the advancement of cardiovascular care and innovation, and who has served as a critical support to Dr. Frazier throughout his career.
